New York Knicks: An 8-Step Guide To Respectability
Sit Out Free Agency
This should be the first offseason in a long time where the New York Knicks are content to sit back and let everyone else do the spending.
Not only are all of the big free agents on the older side, but this season has been a painful reminder that the team is nowhere near contention, and there is no quick fix available that will make that a reality.
Attempting to build a winning culture through youth and continuity is the answer; signing the 18th or 19th best point guard in the league (I’m looking at you, Jrue Holiday and Jeff Teague) for over $20 million a season is not.
