Re-sign Justin Holiday
This should be the team’s No. 1 goal this summer, outside of the draft and trades (which we’ll get to in a moment). Justin Holiday is still refining his game, but has shown the potential to be a legitimate 3-and-D wing in this league (he has improved his 3P% every year in the league, and is currently at 36%).
It might be costly to retain him – think Courtney Lee type money – but he is exactly the type of piece they should be investing in long-term: a productive player who doesn’t need the ball to be impactful on the court.
Quite frankly, the New York Knicks have made worse decisions. Bet on Holiday.
