How Much Will D-Will And Andrew Bogut Help The Cavs?
The NBA has become an arms race, and the threat of Golden State put immense pressure on Cleveland to get as much help as possible. Everyone in the world wants to play with LeBron, so that helps. Deron Williams gives the Cavs that extra playmaker the Cavs need. He is a great backup point guard, and is big enough to play along side Kyrie Irving. The problem is at his age he is not the best defender.
Enter Andrew Bogut, an excellent rim-protector, and a great passer. He can help the Cavs defense, and his passing will be a great fit in their offense. Both of them bring the Cavs more depth and versatility in their lineups. The problem with Bogut is against Golden state, he won’t play much. Golden State will run him off the floor in their small lineups.
However, the biggest use these two have is providing rest to Cleveland’s big guns heading into the playoffs. These two will help, but if Kevin Durant is healthy I’m still taking Golden State.
