Larry Sanders is officially back in the NBA.
After roughly two years away from the game, Larry Sanders has completed a deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers to complete his comeback. According to The Vertical, Sanders is set to take a physical exam with Cleveland today and will likely sign a contract for the remainder of this season, and some sort of guarantee into next season.

"Larry Sanders has reached agreement on a contract with the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers, completing his return to the NBA, league sources told The Vertical.Sanders and his agent, Joel Bell, traveled to Cleveland on Sunday, and Sanders will undergo a physical exam on Monday morning before signing the deal, league sources said. Sanders’ deal will cover the remainder of this season and likely include a guarantee trigger date for 2017-18, league sources said."
In 2015, Sanders accepted a buyout from the Milwaukee Bucks in order to focus on his personal life.
During his best season in the NBA, Sanders averaged 10 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks with the Milwaukee Bucks. However, it’s almost impossible to know what to expect from Sanders now.
Even though he’s still young – only 28 years old – there’s really no way to project what type of production he’s going to provide the Cavs with. Although, Cleveland will take anything they can get. After losing Andrew Bogut for the season in the first minute of his Cleveland Cavalier action, he was waived in order to create room for another healthy big.

Now, Larry Sanders falls into that role. Cleveland is still without Kevin Love, who is expected back at some point before the end of the regular season.
