De’Aaron Fox, Kentucky

(2) Kentucky vs. Northern Kentucky (15)

De’Aaron Fox is the fellow Kentucky player to keep an eye on. He’s a more streaky shooter than Monk, but he still consistently gave a double-digit effort in the box score. His three-point and free throw shooting could use some work.

What he does have, however, is a knack for getting to the hoop and some good court vision. In his freshman year, he got a lot of easy buckets and made some key passes that lead to other teammates scoring.

On defense, he’s capable of poking the ball away and coming up with the steal. He has enough energy to keep up with opposing point guards and while he can improve on defense, it’s a solid start.
