Justin Jackson, UNC

(1) North Carolina vs. Texas Southern (16)

Justin Jackson might not look too impressive if you just look at his stat line. He doesn’t have too many rebounds or blocks per game for someone who plays near the hoop more often than not, but there are some things to pay attention to.

When Jackson gets the ball, he can stretch the floor or take it to the hoop. He has some good footwork when working in the post and is good at drawing fouls.

Jackson’s three-point shooting improved this season and his free throws could use some work, but he’s a solid player. Not everything will show up on the stat sheet and he’s a guy that embodies that. He puts in the effort and he would provide a lot of energy to whichever team drafts him. He may not be a starter going into the NBA, but he can make an impact coming off of the bench.
