2017 NBA Draft: 10 Prospects To Watch On The First Day Of The NCAA Tournament
By Jack Pontin
Just because March Madness is upon us does not mean that the NBA should be ignored. While watching the drama of the NCAA tournament, keep a close eye on the players who may be suiting up for your favorite professional team next season
Well, one of the most wonderful times of the year in sports is upon us again: March Madness. With the NCAA tournament comes drama, anger, and ecstasy throughout the emotional rollercoaster that takes place before one can finally accept that his bracket has been busted.
But the tournament is not all about the brackets; there are other things to watch for, and it is the load of NBA prospects that carry their college teams to a chance at a championship.
The “second” round (technically these play-in games are the “first” round) begins Thursday at 12:20 ET, and with tip-off of the first game comes a showcase day for players looking to make a name for themselves in the eyes of NBA scouts.
However, on Thursday, many players who are already considered professional prospects will take the court with the simple goal of advancing to the Round of 32 on Saturday.
