The NBA playoffs is less than a month away. With that in mind, we look at five playoff matches that we should root for this season

The most wonderful time of the year is almost up on us, the NBA playoffs.

That’s when 16 of the NBA’s best teams (at least according to records), will go at it in hopes of coming out on top by the end of a grueling three-month playoff journey.

Usually, there’s no shortage of drama in the NBA playoffs. But this spring might bring even more drama than previous years.

In the East, it will be interesting to see which one of the top teams will give the Cleveland Cavaliers a run for their money. The West doesn’t look as competitive as previous years, but there are still plenty of story lines to watch out for.

So which possible playoff matchups should we look forward to the most this year? Here are a few.
