Joe Ingles, Utah Jazz (Restricted Free Agent)

Current Salary: $2.2M

Age: 29

As the oldest restricted free agent on the market this summer, it will be interesting to see how the market plays out for the 6-foot-8 small forward. He averages under seven points per game and has the lowest usage rate on the entire team, but is killing it from deep (45% on 1.5 made threes per game, good for 2nd in the league) and is solid on the defensive end.

There will be a market for his services, and it’ll be interesting to see whether Utah tries to lock him up before he can sign with another team. Making matters more complicated is the fact that Utah needs all the cap room it can get to try and bring back both Gordon Hayward and George Hill.

At the very least, Ingles will be worth the full mid-level exception, now north of $8 million, but if he seeks out a higher number elsewhere, he’s likely to get it.
