Josh Jackson (Kansas) vs. Caleb Swanigan (Purdue)

Jackson has crazy athleticism, tremendous rebounding skills and can be a terror on the defensive end. JJ’s offensive abilities have improved greatly throughout the season and the first two rounds have showcased that.

A couple slow starts have been made up with big second halves in his two tournament games, scoring 17 and 23 respectively. Jackson is a top prospect who is expected to be selected in the top three in this summer’s draft.

Caleb Swanigan is a matchup nightmare. Kansas doesn’t have the size to go toe-to-toe with Swanigan and “Biggie” should capitalize on that. The Naismith finalist is a double-double machine (posting his 27th and 28th of the season in this tournament).  At 6-foot-10, 270, Swanigan crashes his way through the paint, but has great touch for a big man and a impressive shooting range.

Purdue goes as far as Swanigan goes. As far as the NBA is concerned, Swanigan could be a late first rounder and has all the tools to contribute for many years.
