The Process

No, this section isn’t about Joel Embiid. With the honorable mentions out of the way, I am here to explain my thought process.

What this section is about is the factors I took into consideration while creating my ‘All-Windex Team’. I also want to set some ground rules before you take a look at them.

So, here they are:

  1. The team is going to be comprised of all centers. Some guys might spend some time at the 4, but they are either listed as centers on multiple websites and/or primarily spend their time at the 5.
  2. The order isn’t a ranking. Just because one players is ahead of another doesn’t mean that I am saying one is better than another. While all of these players are relatively youngthese 5 men all have very different games.
  3. Stats were taken into account, but were not gospel. I didn’t just look up the top rebounders and choose the players listed from 1-5. While some of them fall somewhere in that spectrum in the multiple rebounding categories, I don’t want you thinking I am just copying and pasting a list.
  4. Multiple categories were taken into account. A few of those categories were (but not limited to) total rebounds, offensive/rebounding percentage, and offensive rebounding.
  5. This list is biased. I will say up front I like some of these guys better than others, but it’s also impossible to not be biased about anything. I will most likely not be including a “deserving” candidate. Maybe he’s already out of the running because he was included in the honorable mentions section. Talk to me! I am always down for a conversation.

Let’s begin, shall we?
