Reason Why It Won’t Happen #1: DeRozan and Lowry’s Relationship

Outside of the members of Toronto’s backcourt, I’m not sure there’s a starting backcourt in the league that has a relationship even relatively close to the one that Lowry and DeRozan share.

The two are tight – and aren’t afraid to poke fun at each other.

This is easily one of the funniest things I have ever seen in my life, and perfectly encapsulates their relationship. I’ve skipped ahead to the 3:00 minute mark for your personal enjoyment; and because the beginning of it is mainly just standard questions asked by reporters, and then the audio begins to become a little shaky towards the end.

If you don’t think I’m telling the truth, or seem like I have a parasocial relationship with these guys (which is true to a degree; #unashamed), watch the two of them when they’re on the bench the next time they’re on national T.V.; (I’m not sure if the Raptors are on the national T.V. schedule for the few remaining games of the regular season, but you can catch them in the playoffs) or when one of them is getting interviewed after a game, preferably after a win.
