Reason Why It Will Happen #4: Dwane Casey

Dwayne Casey is definitely one of the better coaches the NBA has to offer, and he could very well propel the Raptors to the NBA Finals (@ me)…… or see another disappointing end to the season and see Ibaka and Patterson and Tucker all leave, nudging Lowry to consider his options.

Can we be honest for a second?

How sure are we that Lowry is going to stay? 25%? 50%? 75%?

Whatever your answer was, I’m almost 99.9% sure it wasn’t 100%.

For DeRozan it makes sense he re-signed – Casey has found a way to utilize his unique skillset that completely goes against the modern NBA.

For Lowry, he can fit in just about any offensive system. (Can you imagine him on the Spurs?)

And that’s what could lead to the Raptors losing him.
