In our NBA Draft 2.0, we look at which prospects stocks are rising and whose are falling in the post-NCAA tournament mock
The NCAA Tournament is in the books and for many the next step in the journey of becoming a player in the NBA is the draft. Players are declaring, the buzz is getting louder and the tanks are in full-force. Here is the NBA mock draft 2.0 based on current NBA standings.
No. 1 Boston Celtics (Via Brooklyn) Markelle Fultz (Washington, FR, Point Guard)
Boston continues to be in the chase for top seed in the East and their primary focus is on the playoffs. However, you know Danny Ainge is watching the Nets rack up losses and gifting the Celtics the odds of landing Markelle Fultz.
Fultz is just too good to pass up. An offensive juggernaut, Fultz has all the tools needed to be an NBA star. A good long-range shooter, with the addition of a mid-range game and a great motor driving to the basket, makes him a threat all over the offensive end.
The combination of scoring, court vision, passing and play-making will pair perfectly with Isaiah Thomas and the Celtics have another piece to add to their Championship contending team.
