No. 27 Portland Trail Blazers (From CLE)- Johnathan Motley (Baylor, JR, Power Forward)

Portland has their third pick of the first round looking to strengthen their depth.  At this point they are looking for value and Baylor’s Johnathan Motley has value and NBA potential.

Motley has double-double abilities and has improved his scoring this season (17.3 PPG).

He has a nice touch for his size and has expanded his range, something the Blazers could use as a role player coming off the bench.

Motley might not immediately translate to the NBA, and most likely will have to continue to grow into his frame, but he’s an intriguing prospect to consider at No. 27.
