Toronto Raptors

Jakob Poeltl, Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet

Jakob Poeltl played in 52 games for the Raptors. He’s good around the rim and is improving well in his first year in the NBA. He’s showing some promising talent and the Raptors would do well to keep him around and continue developing him.

Pascal Siakam played more minutes to start the season, but it has dwindled since then. He’s had several stretches where he hasn’t played and that’s likely due to some inconsistent play.

Fred VanVleet has played the fewest games of the three rookies and it’s likely due to the fact that the Raptors have Lowry at point guard, who was playing heavy minutes until he went out with a wrist injury in February. He’s seen some more playing time since then, but hasn’t been too effective.
