Worse-Case Scenario

This is a championship team and anything other than a title this year would be a major disappointment. There are two scenarios that would be absolutely devastating, however.

If the Golden State Warriors met the LA Clippers in the second round of the playoffs and lost would be demoralizing to this team. These two have developed a bit of a rivalry in recent memory so to get knocked out of the playoffs at the hands of the Clippers would be crushing.

An even worse scenario is one that happened just last year. The Warriors make it back to the Finals once again against the Cavaliers and again they come up short. Back-to-back defeats in the finals to the same team would leave this Warriors franchise scratching their heads as to how they could possibly dethrone LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers.

What Will Happen

This team is talented, driven and clicking on all cylinders. The Cavaliers have the best player in the world. The Spurs and Rockets are scary contenders and good enough to knock off anyone, but make no mistake about it this team will be hoisting the Larry O’Brien Trophy in June.
