With the first weekend in the books of the 2017 NBA Playoffs, we look back at everything that transpired

The first weekend of playoff basketball is over, and what a weekend it was.

From nearly 10 almost triple-doubles to one point victories from the team I want knocked out of the postseason already, this weekend had it all. Playoff basketball is here, and it’s here to stay…. you know, because the NBA is a business at the end of the day, and how else do you explain a 7 game series taking nearly 2-3 weeks?

The NBA playoffs remind us that the NBA could be so much better than it normally is during the regular season, and puts me in a melancholy state for the duration of the postseason. So to help me get out of this funk, I’ve comprised a list of takeaways from this weekend.

It’s long, it’s funny (at least I think so), and full of hot takes – so get into your nom shelters ladies and gents – I’m about to drop some truth on you.
