1. Dwyane Wade, Chicago Bulls, Unrestricted
Dwyane Wade, after stunningly leaving Miami last summer, can go back on the open market., if he so chooses to. Father time has yet to catch up to Wade as he had another strong season to somehow lead the Bulls to the playoffs. While Wade played more of a sidekick role to Jimmy Butler this season, he has shown that he still has it.
Wade averaged 18.3 PPG and 4.5 RPG, showcasing his ability to score even at 35. Wade undoubtedly will get north of $20 million as his pay-cut taking days are over.
Prediction: Returns to Miami.
2. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Detroit Pistons, Restricted

Caldwell-Pope has the option to sign elsewhere but Detroit can match any offer that he agrees to. Since coming into the league Caldwell-Pope has improved his game offensively. Caldwell-Pope has developed a solid jump-shot which has paired well with his defensive abilities to turn him into a two-way player. Caldwell-Pope averages 13.8 PPG for the season showing that he is a capable scorer.
More than likely Caldwell-Pope will command a salary of $15m plus for his services.
Prediction: Signs with Pelicans, but Detroit matches.
3. J.J. Redick, Los Angeles Clippers, Unrestricted
Redick is set to be a free agent after four seasons the Clippers. Redick is a knockdown shooter capable of hitting tough shots. Redick is also a decent defender and an overall great team guy. Redick averaged 15. 0 PPG for the season while shooting 43 percent from three, down from his 47.5 percent last year.
Redick will end up getting paid $15m-plus as teams are always looking for shooters.
Prediction: Signs with Spurs, would be a natural fit in Pop’s system.
4. Tyreke Evans, Sacramento Kings, Unrestricted
Tyreke Evans is headed to free agency after being dealt back to the Kings in the DeMarcus Cousins trade midseason. Evans is a natural scorer but has struggled with injuries the past few seasons. Evans played a lot better in his arrival to Sacramento, however, he only played 40 games this season.
For the season, Evans averaged 10.3 PPG and 3.1 APG down from last year when he averaged 15.1 PPG. Evans is likely to get a 1-year prove it deal as he had struggled to stay healthy
Prediction: Signs with Chicago.
5. Tim Hardaway Jr., Atlanta Hawks, Unrestricted
Tim Hardaway Jr. is hitting free agency after two years in Atlanta. Hardaway Jr. is a versatile scorer and has improved his game tremendously this season; he just had his career-best season where he averaged nearly 15 PPG and three RPG. Hardaway Jr. could end getting a large contract this summer after making great strides this season.
Prediction: Re-signs with Atlanta.
