Playing Big

The Golden State Warriors are a great team, oozing with talent all over their roster. They have four all-star players with two of them being former league MVP’s (Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry). They’re great on both ends of the floor and the Jazz will have their hands full from opening tip.

The one thing that can be exploited against the Warriors, though, is the size advantage that Utah will have. Derrick Favors, Boris Diaw and, most importantly, Rudy Gobert will have the opportunity to take advantage down low.

Draymond Green is a great all-around player, but he won’t be able to keep them all from invading the paint on the constant basis. In response, Zaza Pachulia, David West and JaVale McGee (yes, him) will need to be on the top of their games entering this series.

The Warriors lack of size hasn’t stopped this team from being dominant all season long but they’re now facing a 7 game series with a team that has a plethora of big men. If the Jazz can dominate on the inside and on the glass than the Warriors could have their hands full.
