Four landing spots for Dwyane Wade this summer
At the end of the day, all of these options are quite intriguing. It’s rather obvious that Wade is in the final stages of his career and would only make a move to return home or join a competitor. All of these scenarios bring Wade to teams that would compete in their respective Conferences.

Also, all of these scenarios are pretty feasible, while the Oklahoma City Thunder destination is more of a long shot since it requires more than just putting pen to paper. Cleveland could’ve also been a fun scenario to explore but the Cavaliers are so cap-strapped at the moment that it isn’t really reasonable.
Finally, don’t overlook the possibility that Wade could just play in Chicago next season. If he accepts his option, he’d likely get another shot at the playoffs with Jimmy Butler and company. The team certainly had its ups and downs but a return is not out of the question.
All in all, the most logical destination of the bunch would seem to be the LA Clippers. If the team brings back it’s core in free agency, which is expected, Wade would just have to sign the paper. J.J. Redick can walk and find the money he seeks elsewhere, as plenty of teams would love to acquire a shooter like him.
If the East had a big four to rival the Cavaliers in the East, if not the Warriors in the West, the league would have a new super-team to worry about.
