The Arms

A gigantic part of what makes LeBron James effective is what he can do with the ball. The limit does not exist. So what’s the simplest answer for this? Deny him the ball. Having an arm in the passing lane at all times is defensive positioning 101. Kyrie or any other teammate will have a nightmare trying to get him the ball with a 7-foot-3 wingspan flapping around.

Long arms could be the No. 1 most crucial attribute to be an annoying, pesky defender. It allows you to sacrifice getting your body closer to your guy, which prevents easy blow byes, and it also makes it easy for you to contest shots no matter how out of position you are. Greek Freak’s arms being planted on our LeBron stopper will make life five times harder on LeBron.

Giannis’s arms being out and up creates problems with LeBrons vision, which decreases his best attribute of his game: Passing. If he can’t see the floor at all times, he has a greater opportunity to miss cutting teammates.

This past year, Antetokounmpo lead his team in every statistical category, and that includes blocks and steals. He averaged 1.9 blocks and 1.6 steals per game, but also was 4th in the entire league in tipped passes per game (4.7). LeBron is an assisting wizard, and with Giannis smothering him with his wings spread out, deflecting 4.7 passes LeBron makes, that could drive even a King crazy.
