The Hands

Kawhi Leonard’s hands look like bear claws and they are always around the ball. They’re abnormally long for his size and he makes sure they stay active. In the last five years, Kawhi has averaged just a hair under two steals per game (1.9) and has guarded the opponents best wing or guard in every game he’s played in.

According to NBA.com, Kawhi was just one deflection per game shy (3.6) of the aforementioned Greek Freak. He was 6th in the NBA this year in loose balls scooped up with his giant mitts, which also contributes to him finishing in the top 3 for defensive player of the year.

This two-time defensive player of the year and three-time all defensive team member’s hands will be a huge addition to our LeBron stopper.
