The Finished Product

This hideous freak of a monster is the only hope left to stop the greatest player in our sport. No one player on earth can stop him, and LeBron James is making that obvious with his sixth, and soon to be seventh finals appearance in a row.

More from Sir Charles In Charge

It is insane to think that James is still improving in his 14th season in the league, but that is exactly what Boston’s head coach Brad Stevens told media members after Game 1.

He is playing chess while defenders are playing checkers. He picks and chooses who he wants to be guarded by, and knows every defenders weakness individually. He laughs at post players when they switch on the pick and roll, and then blows by them without the slightest chance of contention.

You can’t go underneath screens anymore like you could when he was in Miami, because he will beat you with his three-point jumper (45.8% this playoffs).

His experience is proving to be more valuable than ever, his wisdom of the game is still growing at an exponential rate, and his game perfectly adjusts with father time.
