Boston Celtics

Here’s where it gets fun. This has long been a popular rumor in NBA circles. The decision that would probably make the most sense for Gordon Hayward is the Boston Celtics, where his college coach just happens to call home.

Secondly, the Celtics are a good team, in the Conference Finals now, and are probably with the second team in the East. By adding Hayward and Markelle Fultz in the draft, they will still be the second best team, but actually have a realistic chance of beating LeBron in a series.

Boston also is loaded with young assets and draft picks, they can flip for other stars. The Celtics will definitely push for Hayward in free agency because unlike Jimmy Butler or Paul George, they don’t have to give up any assets to give him.

Boston has the money and the pedigree, to lure a player like Hayward. This is a real possibility; sorry Jae Crowder!
