The NBA is a league of Superstars. Every franchise at the top of the NBA Draft will be hoping to find the next centerpiece to build around. However, drafting a bust can set a franchise back years

Hope.

Hope is the key aspect of being a sports fan. At the start of the season, every franchise has their hopes. Hopes at a title hopes at playoffs, or maybe even just hopes at improving. By the end of the 82-game regular season, that hope is over.

Whilst a few talented and lucky sides compete in the NBA Finals, the rest of the league’s hopes turn towards the future.

On June 23rd, the 2017 NBA Draft will take place and the most talented youngsters from around the world will make their dreams come true. Every club with an early pick will be sure they have their next superstar. However, we all know that isn’t the case. Many top picks don’t become the star the franchise hopes they will be.

So which players at the top of the upcoming draft class are more likely another Darko, than another LeBron?
