The Golden State Warriors continued to roll in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, blowing out the Cleveland Cavaliers in impressive fashion

The Golden State Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavilers in Game 1 of the NBA Finals at Oracle Arena, 113-91. And it didn’t even feel that close.

The game was close throughout the first half, with the Cavs only being down by 8 at the end of the first half, yet the Warriors pulled away almost immediately to open the third quarter. Before the Cavs could blink, the Warriors had reeled off seven-straight points to open the third.

Golden State never looked back.

The top three performers on the Warriors were Kevin Durant, who scored an astonishing 38 points and logged eight rebounds and eight assists, Draymond Green, who scored nine points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and Stephen Curry, who scored 28 points while adding six rebounds and 10 assists.

The real difference between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers was Kevin Durant, who was exceptional on defense while being unstoppable of offense. The long negative spot for the Warriors was Klay Thompson, who continued his cold shooting while only scoring six points in Game 1.
