In our 2017 NBA Mock Draft 4.0, the Los Angeles Lakers pass on Lonzo Ball and Josh Jackson makes a jump up the board

With the 2017 NBA Draft a week and a half away, and with individual workouts wrapping up, there have been a few shake ups at the top of many boards. Let’s take a final look at the complete first round and a quick peak in to what to expect in the second round.

No. 1 Boston Celtics (via Brooklyn)- Markelle Fultz (Washington, FR, Point Guard)

Markelle Fultz hasn’t moved in my previous three mocks and he isn’t falling now – not a week and a half before the official draft. Case closed, Markelle Fultz will be the number one pick in the NBA draft.

His combination of length, speed, athleticism tops any prospect in this draft. The Celtics are building up another run at Cleveland in the Eastern Conference and Fultz makes Boston the far and away best bet to dethrone the King.
