Rodions Kurcus is reportedly a great athlete with dual threat abilities on the offensive side of the ball. You may not know who he is, but you will eventually.
Kurcus can shoot the long ball and slash to the basket at will. He is probably a few years away from the league, but by then the Magic could be ready to move on from Mario Hezonja and fit Kurcus into the rotation.
This is the type of pick that won’t be able to be judged until a few years down the line. It’s the type of move that you kind of just nod along to, for now.
