The reaction of Lavar Ball alone will be worth Lonzo Ball dropping to Philly at No. 3. Aside from the distracting antics from the Ball father, the Sixers land a franchise point guard in this scenario.
Yes, Ben Simmons can play point, but Ball gives the Sixers the option to use Simmons at other spots on the court. Ball is a true floor lead, which the Sixers haven’t had in a very long time.
Ball has great size, a great basketball IQ and his 7.6 assists per game is exactly what the Sixers need in their offense. Ball, Simmons, Dario Saric and Joel Embiid is worth the price of NBA League Pass alone.
