21. Oklahoma City Thunder select OG Anunoby: SF/PF – Indiana

OG Anunoby is one of the best athletes in the draft. He’s a boom-or-bust prospect with extremely high upside. He’s coming off of a torn ACL, which should cause him to slide in the draft. But if he regains his athleticism, he’ll be a freak. Anunoby is a work in progress, and will need to be developed properly to maximize his potential.

He’s already a defensive presence, but doesn’t have an offensive repertoire to help him earn a starting job. If Oklahoma City is willing to be patient, Anunoby could be one of the steals of the draft if he becomes an offensive force.

22. Brooklyn Nets select John Collins: PF/C – Wake Forrest

John Collins will probably get drafted higher than this, but I’m not a huge fan of his game. He’s a skilled prospect and has starter potential, but I worry that he’s a center in a power forward’s body. He doesn’t have elite range, which makes me worry that he can only play as a center. If he expands his shooting range, then I’ll admit that I’m wrong.

The Nets need help throughout their team. They’re the laughingstock of the NBA. Collins would be a nice piece on their team and could develop into a starter down the road.
