3. Philadelphia 76ers select Lonzo Ball: PG – UCLA

This is where I’d end the Lonzo Ball slide. With Philadelphia being far away from LaVar, I think the 76ers would be a good fit. Although they already have a point forward in Ben Simmons, I think Ball can play with or without the ball.

I like having two ball-handlers on the floor at a time, and think Ball is a good enough shooter to space the floor and give Simmons room to operate. The two should be able to coexist with ease in Philadelphia.

4. Phoenix Suns select Jonathan Isaac: F – Florida State

This might be a bit of a reach, but I really like the fit. As a Suns fan, this is who I would take in this situation. I like Jayson Tatum too, but his defense isn’t good enough to make up for Devin Booker’s defensive limitations. You can’t play with two bad wing defenders.

Isaac is one of the biggest boom-or-bust prospects in the draft. His upside is unlike any other prospect. If he hits, he’ll be a 6-foot-11 point forward with rim protecting abilities. He can switch a pick-and-roll, and his jump shot has potential. Isaac, Dragan Bender, and Marquese Chriss would be an interesting frontcourt with a ton of upside.
