Floor: safe prospects

1. Lonzo Ball, G, UCLA

Lonzo Ball is one of the top draft prospects for a reason. He doesn’t have elite potential to rank him on the other top 10 list, but he’s more NBA ready than any other prospect. This doesn’t mean that he doesn’t have potential, but his potential isn’t what makes him a top tier prospect.

Ball is a phenomenal passer that should change the culture of any team that drafts him. If a team can get over his insane father LaVar, they should run to the podium to draft him after Markelle Fultz is drafted.

If he improves as a shooter, he’ll become an elite NBA talent. If not, he should still be a top ten point guard in the NBA.

2. Markelle Fultz, G, Washington

Like I said earlier, there’s a reason that Markelle Fultz is the top prospect in this year’s draft. His elite athleticism and potential make him a top prospect, but he’s also an extremely safe prospect. He can do anything with the basketball.

He’s already an elite shooter, passer, and rebounder for his position. He could become a triple-double threat every game, but at worst should be a top 10 point guard in the league.
