In the latest edition of our 2017 NBA Mock Draft, the Phoenix Suns snag Lonzo Ball while the Miami Heat trade up to pick De’Aaron Fox

NBA Draft week is finally here.

While there’s still a couple more days of maneuvering by a number of NBA teams, as they settle in on an ideal selection, but we’re growing closer and closer to game time.

Over the weekend, the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers completed a trade that now has the Sixers selecting at No. 1. However, that move is not reflected in our mock draft, since it took place in a “live” fashion last week.

The format of this most recent mock is simple. A handful of our writers at SCIC were assigned as GMs to every team picking in the first round. Trades were allowed, as king as each team managed to remain under next year’s projected salary cap.

Before we get into the mock, let’s take a look at every trade that went down. Here’s a quick recap of them.

  • LAL trades the 2nd overall pick, 28th overall pick and Julius Randle to Boston for No. 1 overall pick and Terry Rozier
  • Phoenix Suns trade Eric Bledsoe, Tyson Chandler and No. 4 pick to the Philadelphia 76ers for Jahlil Okafor and No. 3 pick.
  • Detroit Pistons trade Stanley Johnson and Tobias Harris to Sacramento for No. 5 pick.
