24. Utah Jazz – John Collins, F, Wake Forest

After being unable to package both of Utah’s picks to move up, I decided to add depth to the Jazz. John Collins was a double-double machine in college and has great big man skills with high energy.

The Jazz have an absolute stud in Rudy Gobert, but after that the frontcourt has question marks with Derrick Favors health, Boris Diaw’s age and inconsistent play from Trey Lyles. Collins would provide offense, rebounding and rim protection for the Jazz and give them much needed bench minutes.

With Collins being a potential mid-first round selection, it was an easy selection to take a big man who has the offensive skills to play at the current NBA level.
