7. Minnesota Timberwolves – Malik Monk, G, Kentucky

Malik Monk adds a lot of firepower to the Minnesota Timberwolves. He has a tremendous jumpshot and can attack the rim. While at Kentucky, he had a few games where he scored over 30 points, very impressive for a freshmen. He has the capability to make it big in the NBA, but it will take time.

I think that Malik will transfer over quickly to the Timberwolves and can be a huge presence for them in the early part of the season. I think that his size and ability to run the floor can add a lot to their squad and can help them in their rebounding department as well.

If he can score from the 3, I think that is where they will attack and be most effective from there. If the Timberwolves do not rush him in his development, I think he will be effective for a long time
