5. Sacramento Kings (from 76ers) – De’Aaron Fox, PG, Kentucky

De’Aaron Fox was one of my favorite players in this draft. At the same time, I’m actually quite surprised that he’s going No. 5 to the Sacramento Kings. After soaring up the draft boards a month ago, all that noise kind of quieted off.

It didn’t matter. Fox isn’t a sharpshooter, which is actually concerning as the NBA continues to transition into a more perimeter league, but that could come with time.

Fox might be the quickest guard in this draft, and showed exactly that in the NCAA Tournament when he carved up the No. 2 overall pick.
