Winner – Sacramento Kings

Sacramento had the best draft in my mind. Four players that all have high upside, this is very unlike the Kings to do this. Their first pick was quite possibly the best player in the draft, De’Aaron Fox at the 5th overall pick. Fox could be the fastest player in the NBA now and is a tremendous competitor.

Justin Jackson and Harry Giles were drafted at 15th and 20th after Sacramento traded their 10th overall pick to Portland. Jackson is a gamer and won the NCAA Championship this year as the leader of the North Carolina Tar Heels, Harry Giles, on the other hand, was touted as the next big thing coming out of high school, a few injuries have set him back and gave him a college career I’m sure he wasn’t expecting, Giles has some risk but a ton of reward, especially at the 20 spot.

Then, in the second round, the Kings drafted Naismith College Player of the Year winner, Frank Mason III. Vlade Divac must be a fan of the college basketball blue blood after drafting a player from Kentucky, North Carolina, Duke and Kansas all in one draft.
