
In a slight remix to the NBA’s Award Show, we hand out the real awards from the 2016-17 season
The first ever NBA award show was a hilarious and tear-jerking success. We had the best hip-hop artist in the world cover the greatest sport on our planet. We had a Drake roast session, and an amazing Monty Williams story /Craig Sager Award. One Russell (Bill) made us all laugh, while the other Russell (Westbrook) made all of us cry.
After watching last night, we all know who won the following:
MVP: Russ Westbrook
Rookie of the Year: Malcolm Brogdon, Milwaukee Bucks
6th Man: Eric Gordon, Houston Rockets
Coach of the year: Mike D’Antoni, Houston Rockets
But no one yet knows who won the accolades that truly matter…
