As NBA Free Agency opens this weekend, we explore four fun fits that we’d love to see come to fruition this summer

Start your clocks ladies and gents, NBA Free Agency is almost upon us.

NBA Free Agency is the time of year where as many rumors and opinions fly as a certain President’s Twitter account. Sorry, too soon? Too much? Well, that’s what free agency can feel like.

Paul George is traded 20 times a day by the fans of every contender, LeBron’s chances of going to L.A. are as existent as his hairline, and every top-tier free agent has a concerning injury history that no one seems to be concerned about. (Did you know that Blake Griffin played more games (61) than George Hill (49) or Kyle Lowry (60)?)

Now let me be abundantly clear – I like all the aforementioned players. I hope they all end up in the places they feel is best for them, even if means my beloved Celtics might strike out on some of the top free agents the next few offseasons. At the end of the day, the NBA is a business, and is not concerned if the Celtics trade their future 900 first round picks for Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins. I CAN DREAM OKAY LET ME BE!

You might be tired of free agency pieces already. Until pen is put to paper, all of these articles are just speculation and opinion. As much fun as it is to wish that your favorite team could sign Gordon Hayward and trade for Paul George and Chris Paul, it’s not going to happen. So why not have fun with it?

I know you’re tired of the same rumors – Hayward is bound for Boston, Paul George wants to don the purple and gold, yada yada yada. What if Blake went to OKC? What if the Rockets do find a way to swing a trade for Paul George? Let’s find out.
