Jrue Holiday

Ideal destination: Dallas Mavericks

The Pelicans need Jrue Holiday. They really do. The Davis and Cousins combo is not proven to be anything more than diminishing their results. The Pelicans have one of the best young players in the league in Davis but need to build a solid team around him.

This is not something they have done so far. If they lose Holiday, then they will not have space to sign a suitable replacement. However, this is not Holiday’s problem.

Holiday is a point guard is a versatile player who can play off-ball, defend, and is a solid shooter. So, basically, he fits in with every team in the NBA. The Dallas Mavericks have made their intentions clear in looking for a point guard. They have recently been linked to Holiday and he would be a great fit in Dallas.

Even though the Mavs added Dennis Smith Jr. in the NBA Draft, adding a player like Holiday might be too good of an opportunity to pass up.
