3. Gordon Hayward

This feels like a match made in heaven, right? Maybe we’re making too much of the Gordon Hayward-Brad Steven connection, maybe we’re not? Either way, any star on the free agent market this season would be connected to Boston.

It just happens to be Hayward this summer, who also just so happened to play under Stevens during their time at Butler.

This seems like a two-team race for Hayward’s service – I’m just not buying the Hayward to the Heat whispers. And the team with the better chance to compete – especially in a much weaker conference – will come out on top.
