Adding a player like Dennis Smith Jr. in the NBA Draft is going to do wonders for a team that desperately needed a point guard last season.

Even though he likely won’t be the end all be all this season for Dallas, he’s going to be a huge shot in the arm for a team that lacked explosiveness in their backcourt. With the expectations that both Nerlens Noel and Dirk Nowitzki will both be back, this team should be OK.

They’re not a player team in a much improved Western Conference, but they won’t be that bad either.
