San Antonio Spurs – 55 Wins

Predicting the San Antonio Spurs to win less than 60 games is really playing with fire, but I think this is the year that San Antonio take a slight step back in the regular season.

They are locked into an aging core, and Kawhi Leonard can’t possibly get even better! (can he?), but Popovich’s brilliance will again lead them to the second seed.

Golden State Warriors – 70 Wins

I’ll never understand how the Warriors could resign all of their free agents and sign Nick Young while the Celtics had to dump salary to sign Gordon Hayward.

Somehow, they did it, proving me wrong and all but locking up the best record in the league next season. Sorry, parity fans, the Warriors are still No. 1, and the gap isn’t closing this season.
