Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

As noted on Howard Beck’s “Full 48” podcast, it’s likely that KCP would have received an eight digit, multi-year deal with the 76ers. Philadelphia, who recently drafted Markelle Fultz, would have been a mutually beneficial home for Caldwell-Pope.

Fultz, Okafor, and Simmons will be focused on maximizing their skill set on the offensive end while Joel Embiid will have his hands full on both ends. KCP’s 3-and-D skill set would have fit perfectly with this team whose only long term question mark going forward is their ability to stop opposing wings.

Assuming Caldwell-Pope would have found a home in Philly, what would have become of J.J. Redick and his one-year, $23 million deal with the Sixers?
