J.J. Redick

Redick would not have found another offer for the elevated dollar amount offered by the Sixers, but many reports suggested a handful of teams expressed varying levels of interest in the 33-year-old off guard.

More than likely, Redick could have found himself in Minnesota.

Joining a young core of Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns, as well as recently acquired superstar Jimmy Butler, would have had legitimate appeal to the catch and shoot gunner.

Signing Redick to play alongside Towns, Wiggins, Butler, and early free agency signing Jeff Teague would have, no matter the exact dollar amount, would have put the Wolves near the cap.

It’s reasonable to assume that J.J.  Redick would have commanded the same $14 million per year that the Wolves gave Taj Gibson shortly after Redick signed in Philly.
