NBA Summer League All-Stars: Lonzo Ball, Jayson Tatum turn heads
Quinn Cook, New Orleans Pelicans
At 24 years old, Quinn Cook is considered a veteran of the NBA Summer League, and he’s pulling an Uncle Drew on all the kids. Having bounced around waiting for his opportunity after leaving Duke, Cook finally made his NBA debut in February of this past year.
This summer league as point guard of the Pelicans, Quinn looks to be on a mission. He’s grinding out 20.6 ppg, 3.6 rpg, and 4.8 apg on 55 percent shooting.
There’s no doubt New Orleans is taking notice, but with the recent signing of Rajon Rondo, Cook looks to keep adding chips onto his shoulder. If there isn’t room for him on the Pelicans, there has to be a spot for him somewhere else. He’s an NBA player.
