Kyle Kuzma, Los Angeles Lakers
Out of nowhere, Kyle Kuzma blows up the NBA Summer League. The young bucket getter from Utah averaged 20.5 ppg, 5.8 rpg, and 3 apg while shooting lights out from three all tournament long. Kuzma is a versatile 3-and-D combo forward which is exactly the direction the league is trending right now.
Someone who is long and can guard multiple positions, while being able to score from 24 feet and in on the offensive end to stretch the floor.

Snatching the spotlight in the championship game while Lonzo was resting, Kyle put up a smooth 30 points and 10 rebound while draining 6 three-balls. Kuzma being 22 years old, already has that “been there before” swagger to him that comes with experience.
Crowning him championship game MVP adds another notch to that belt. The Lakers winning the NBA Summer League could be the climax of their entire season, so let’s enjoy it while we’re still in the moment.
