5. Milwaukee Bucks

Fear the Deer. The Bucks have one of the most promising young cores in Giannis Antetokounmpo, Thon Maker, Jabari Parker and even Malcolm Brogdon. Milwaukee also has some veteran talent to surround their youth in Khris Middleton and Greg Monroe.

The young Bucks were the recipients of two awards during the NBA award show. Antetokounmpo won the Most Improved Player award for his dominant season at “point forward” posting career highs across the board with 22.9 PPG, 8.8 RPG, and 5.4 APG. The other recipient of an award was Malcolm Brogdon for Rookie of the Year. You can’t help but root for Brogdon who was the 36th pick in the draft but still made a name for himself and carved out a role in the Bucks rotation.

Brogdon averaged 10.2 PPG with 4.2 APG and hit an impressive 40.4 percent from three-point range.

This past season the Bucks made the playoffs as the sixth seed. While Milwaukee fell short against Toronto in the first round, losing in six games. The Bucks put the league on notice that this was only the beginning. With a future MVP in Giannis and some promising players in Brogdon, Maker, and Parker, there is a reason to Fear the Deer.
