Breaking down 10 NBA players that are facing make or break seasons in 2017-18

The NBA is a fast-moving league. Meaning players and teams can change drastically in just a couple of seasons. Owners, GM’s, coaches and especially fans are impatient. They want results. The bar is high for players. Especially those players who are drafted high or have a lot of zeros on their pay check. Therefore, there are players facing make or break seasons every year.

Players who don’t live up to the hype can quickly be released, not extended or traded. Even worse; fall out of the league. A make or break season is simple a player who is at risk of being any of those things if he under performs this season. Now technically that can go for a lot of players. The 10 players that I’m about to list are at the most risk.

Seven of these players were high draft picks who haven’t lived up to where they were drafted.

Now their respective teams are giving them their last chance. One player is a high draft pick already on his third team in five years. Two are coming off injury riddled seasons and both have huge contracts. They need to show they can stay healthy and produce to show their worth the money they are making.

Lets break down the 10 players facing make or break seasons.
